Warekila Pre-School has groups for both three and four year olds. The pre-school is located in a quiet residential setting. Opened in 1969, it was the first purpose built kindergarten in the area and its unique hexagonal design allows for ease of supervision, both indoors and out. Staff are experienced, caring and welcoming. At Warekila, we aim for children to be happy, independent and confident individuals and members of the group. We endeavour to foster children's innate curiosity and creativity by providing appropriate and extensive learning experiences. Of particular interest is music, drama, language, literacy, imaginative play and sensory experiences. Both indoor and outdoor play form an integral part in children's development and therefore form an important role within the programme.
